I have been wanting to doing a superhero party for a while and with the new Avengers movie out, it was the perfect time! This party was so much fun, I love the bright colors, the kids (and adults) loved the games, masks, and capes, and I loved how the cake turned out! In this podcast I’ll cover how-to’s for the masks, capes, cake, comic popcorn cones, Hulk smash wall, Hawkeye bad guy target shoot, and lots of food and decorating ideas.

Star Wars mania is here again! I was one of the lucky ones who saw the original on the big screen in ’77 and I’ve been a fan ever since. So now that The Force Awakens is out, it was the perfect time to throw a Star Wars Party!

With the beginning of Spring I have the sea coast on my mind, so I decided to make a coastal-themed wreath for my door and a few coastal-themed candle holders for the table. Both projects are quick and easy and can be made with materials from the craft store. No need to live near the water for this one!

Who doesn’t love a good 80’s party! I’m mean, the 80’s were like so totally awesome, ya know?! The music, the hair, the clothes, the shoulder pads, the movies, the horrendous home decor of sticks in a vase, black lacquer with pastels, and Nagel prints (wow, I just described my bedroom from 1986), and the ever present danger of nuclear war … good times.
